Re-write Policy
Re-writes are meant to be an opportunity for students to learn from previous mistakes and to practice their skills. Students are allowed to re-submit any assignment in the course up to a maximum of one week after the assignment has been given. Before a student is given the opportunity to re-write something, the following conditions are expected:
1 .The student has personally spoken with me to make sure that he or she has a clear understanding of why he or she received the mark they did, and what needs to be improved.
2. The student has actually re-written the assignment and not just made minor grammatical changes to gain a higher grade.
3. Larger assignments must be re-written at school.
4. It is not appropriate to request time to re-write an assignment during class.
